The LiveGlobally seed was germinated while nina be was working with under-resourced children in Harlem in 1973, sharing movement, music and magic. Learning to travel the great racial divide together, children and mentors co-created experiences, performances and moments full of happiness and health.
For the last 4 decades thousands of individuals have joined the LiveGlobally community to serve, learn and grow. The seed that sprouted in Harlem has born fruit in Nairobi, Costa Rica, North Carolina, Virginia, Louisiana and beyond. There is only love and gratitude!
A Community of Commitment
Our work as yogis is rooted in a commitment to the service of others. This commitment manifests itself in the real world in a number of ways, but it’s taking the first step that leads to many. And to making a difference.
Compassion and Connection
When we practice compassion for ourselves, it naturally disseminates out, connecting us all to each other. We see ourselves in the eyes of all beings, including the most vulnerable populations and those society has chosen to leave behind.
Alignment and Trust
All of our work in the world begins with an alignment, a common thread that connects us to a community, helping create a foundation of trust. By collaborating with those we serve we build on this foundation, enabling us to help create sustainable, systemic solutions, rooted in the needs outlined by the community.
Co-Creation
By immersing ourselves in those communities we serve and collaborating with their leaders and our shared connections, we better understand the lived experiences of the community. This understanding and co-creation helps us serve better, creating meaningful, lasting and sustainable solutions that trickle out to benefit beyond the immediate collective.
Embracing Our Differences
We believe that our differences are what make miracles possible. We are stronger when we work in unity together and our differences help us better support one another.
