YOUR GALA EXPERIENCE

On November 16, 2019, LiveGlobally, a Durham-based 501c(3) non-profit, will host the Gratitude Gala from 7 to 10 pm at The Fruit, 305 South Dillard Street. Celebrate with us in a magical vortex for a night of multimedia art installations, a silent auction, funky music, and detectable vegan hors d'oeuvres.

ShaLeigh Dance Works

Known for a diverse ensemble that consists of some of Durham’s most brilliant and versatile performers, ShaLeigh Dance Works is a dance-theatre company incorporating their own groundbreaking movement vocabulary within the world of contemporary dance.

Their success has taken them from performances and creative residencies in NYC to Germany, England, Israel, and Japan. Since establishing Durham as their home in 2014, the company has had the privilege of receiving commissions, residencies, and tours along the east coast. Their mission is to create dance-theatre work with social integrity and engagement programs with a positive impact on the lives of others. Aerialists Performer - Ashley Weinberger

Ashley Weinberger is a an aerial dancer and has been flying for the past 8 years, starting with silks and eventually finding lyra as her preferred apparatus of choice. She has been performing since 2012 in a variety of showcases, troupe shows, outdoor festivals, and gala events. She has been teaching lyra for the past 3 years at several studios in the Triangle area to spread her love of the craft to students who may be interested in dabbling in the art.

LE’ANDRA MCPHATTER - VIP Performer

Le’Andra McPhatter was born into a clan of musicians, singers, as well as music lovers. Since the age of 3, she has been enthusiastic about music, especially the piano. Growing up as a self-taught pianist, she gained her start in the church and studied theory and musical notation independently. Music has influenced her life so eloquently that she is en-route to her BA in Jazz Studies with a Certification in Teaching. Along with piano, LeAndra also has experience training vocals and playing clarinet in both middle and high schools. She is a multi-genre performer who takes great joy in instructing people of all ages about the fun, beautiful journey music has to offer. She believes that the most beautiful thing about music is how it allows people to share a piece of their world with complete strangers – creating an intimate, undeniable connection that people will never forget.

Chuckey Robinson - VIP Performer

Chuckey Robinson is an instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and producer, who has been playing piano since the age of 3. Alesia Bachelor - Tarot Reading

Greetings!I am Alesia Bachelor, Sacred Life Practicioner and Healing Artist. I offer a wide range of spiritual tools: tarot counseling, meditation, rituals, altar creations, reiki, and I act as a direct channel for the collective soul to speak to us all.
